Our geosciences department provides a full range of geologic and geotechnical engineering services. Our primary resource is our staff's collective experience in the field. Our staff includes two California Certified Engineering Geologists, two California and Oregon Registered Geologists, a California Registered Geotechnical Engineer, four project geologists, and two geotechnical engineering technicians. SHN offers comprehensive geological and geotechnical consulting services, including:

Landslide Investigations Materials Testing Soils Engineering/Foundations Subsurface Drainage/Percolation

SHN uses subcontracted drilling contractors for investigative borings, which allows us to match appropriate drilling/sampling/down-hole-testing equipment to the character of the site under consideration. We are computerized for productivity in preparation of documentation.
