C STREET INFRASTRUCTURE
PROJECT
City of Eureka

Assisted the City of Eureka Redevelopment Agency with preparation of a loan application to the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank for a $2.0 million infrastructure loan to complete the access, parking, and public improvements for the C Street waterfront and Fisherman’s Terminal development.

 

 




McKinleyville, CA

SHN completed the project economic feasibility, financing, and marketing study for submittal to the lender. We also performed project management for the development of a new seventy-room airport Holiday Inn Hotel, at the McKinleyville Airport Business Park.

Willits Housing Rehabilitation Program

SHN assisted the City in establishing a community housing rehabilitation program including preparing a successful $400,000 State CDBG grant for program implementation.






Eureka Intermodal Transportation Facility

The Intermodal Transportation Center, conceptually, will be a public-private partnership, that will generate revenues that will support HTA operations. This Facility will become the western anchor for the Eureka Old Town area. SHN prepared a Section 3, Federal funding application to the federal sections of the Humboldt Transit Authority's Five Year Transit Plan. We coordinated input, reviewed and prepared financial projections, and overall funding feasibility.






Small Boat Basin

SHN was responsible for economic funding feasibility analysis for the $7.2 million Small Boat Basin project. We presented findings to the City Council and assisted City Staff with the Economic Development Administration (EDA) funding application process.
