Working with the Scott Valley Irrigation District in Etna, California, SHN secured funding from the Department of Fish and Game for the design and construction of a fish ladder on the Scott River near Etna.

This project provides anadromous fish passage around an irrigation dam that blocked seasonal fish passage. The project required SHN to provide grant fund development and administration, environmental documentation and permit development with federal and state agencies, preliminary and final engineering designs and specifications and construction oversight.
