Our surveying team is growing, with new and promoted Senior Surveyors leading the way.  Walter White, PLS, has taken on dual roles of Coos Bay Regional Principal and company-wide Surveying Principal.  He envisions gathering all our spatial-related services together, including surveying, drone work, and GIS.  Having coached many local sports teams, Walter is experienced in coaching and training, with the strategy of creating more surveying capacity by training existing and new survey staff.

 

SHN is pleased to announce that Tom Gallup, PLS has joined our survey team.  Tom’s most recent experience is in the public sector, and he too comes to SHN with a focus on coaching and growing our surveying crews.  Tom will lead our California surveying teams, while Walter leads our Oregon crews. 

 

After 23 years with SHN, Tom Herman, PLS has retired.  Tom started his own surveying business in 1983 and merged with SHN in 2002.  Tom is an active community member, volunteering with the Mendocino College Foundation, the Willits Rotary, the Little Lake Fire Protection District, and others.  Thanks Tom for all your efforts for SHN!
